How long does it take to get a forklift licence in NSW? Our course durations range from 1-3 days of training, depending on your previous forklift driving experience.

Most experienced operators only need 1 day to get a forklift licence. During the Express Course, we brush up on any bad forklift driving habits and show you the forklift checks our SafeWork NSW accredited Assessors will expect you to perform. To ensure you are competent and ready for the licence test, there is also a 20x question quiz during our Express Course that you will need to pass, to be eligible to sit the LF Class High-Risk Work Licence Assessment.

Beginner Forklift drivers are better suited to our Standard Course, which is 1 and a half days in length. To maximise the amount of time each person has on the forklift itself, we have you study the theory knowledge content at home online, prior to attending. This gives you the most practical training possible.

Our Premium Course gives you up to 3 days of training and is perfect for those without any driving experience (including a car licence) before. So rather than a one size fits all training solution, we prefer to tailor the course duration to suit your needs.

During the online theory knowledge pre-course learning, you’ll have access to Videos and Practise quizzes, along with all required content for you to pass the theory knowledge assessment.
